Episode seven

Denis became devastatingly confused and lost in thoughts concerning her friend Precious who has been hospitalized she felt guilty and regretted her actions as she confessed all that happened between her and Precious . Her mother encouraged her to divulge her pains afterwards advised her to see Precious to amend her wrongs, she promised to buy things that she carry along to see her in the hospital.

Precious has risen and sat on the hospital bed, friends from St. Paul's had sent her a card collectively signed with hearts and kisses. The St. Paul’s principal sent a letter. She could not carry the mess she’s gotten herself into as she smiled sadly. Hence, Denis entered she has asked her to go and leave her alone as she’s done her enough damage.

 Denis Ekpo was able to find way into her hearts that she confesses what really happened to Precious that she’s indeed jealous of her in all aspects as she’s the only one that gets all the attention from male folks. We promised to call back the next day and set to go when Precious asked to wait. At twelve her mother married her step father. She narrated a past tortures and experiences to Denis how she’s been a victim of r**e and how she stabbed her stepfather and about Miss Rosslyn Osisiogu she told her that she’s just a nice, lovely friend nothing went on. The two friends settled their differences and hugged each other as they look forward to the future.

Joe went back home after the whole troubles that have ensued him and his desire lovely friend Precious . He’s left Alice’s place because he detested how he’d supported what happened to Precious. 

Alice spoke advisedly to Joe about being a good friend in times of need and how Precious has done that for Joe before. Joe was shaken at Alice’s words, while Joe whom his brother Martin cut into his thought looking unhappy as he had entered into trouble again. He mingles with some hard drugs peddlers who have punched his face and create bruises.

Joe loved his brother and always fall soft for him. Martin has asked him for some big money which eventually he gave him some of his properties to sell and raise cash to pay his huge debts. He later encourage Joe to ask for money from father or anyone of their sure relatives that will pay their well, if only he could tell good lies. After Martin left Joe fell into sudden past thoughts as he ruminates over all mother had told him about working after her brother.

On Monday morning the news of the burgled laboratory has come to Joe’s notice through the head boy Mikael . Joe rushed down to the laboratory and met Mr. Solomon and two other lab technicians Mr. Solomon lamented over how fund was raised for the laboratory Mr Solomon told Joe that he’s part of those who did the fund ratios.

Joe Uzoma is the laboratory key keeper hence, Joe believed that the key is in his bag whereas it is not there. Precious resumed after the holiday had expired, she’s with Denis and she protected her. She told her to just ignore anybody who tries to say anything and will report anytime anybody harasses her.

Later after the worries of the missing key has subsided, Joe bumped into Denis he apologized to her and also wish to see Precious and apologize too.

Denis warned Joe steer clear from Precious . However, Joe insist to see her.

The next day the truth was revealed already, the principal sent for Joe to meet him at the office.

Joe Uzoma was the last person who has to stay behind with the laboratory. However, the principal announces that the thieves has been caught Martin Uzoma and some other boys. It didn’t take long for the news to spread that the health prefect and school hero was being questioned in the police station over missing laboratory equipment.
