DIANA’S POV There's a massive dining hall inside that seems like a cathedral of frost and stone. Translucent pillars of ice stretch from the ground to a vaulted ceiling that shimmers like frozen starlight. Frost veils the corners of the arched windows, and the long crystal table in the center reflects the pale blue glow of enchanted flames floating mid-air. "Your jaw is hanging loose, Diana," Daemon's voice snaps me back to reality. I quickly shut my jaw and blush in embarrassment. As he leads me to the dining table, Xiana, who is sitting next to a man with a sleeve of tattoos running from his neck to his hand, grins. She points at the space next to her and Kael. "There's an empty spot here!" she shouts, dragging everyone's attention to us. Everyone goes mute as they look at Daemon
