Kael is standing by the door, his expressionless eyes on me.
I feel the darkness dissolving away from me. I don't look away from Kael. I shouldn't feel this right now, but I've so much missed looking into his brown eyes. I've missed him looking at me.
“Get the f*ck away from me!” Kymon screams.
