Ben thought it was a good idea to take Diana home as soon as possible. Derry had gone home before the vampires had come upon Ben's request. He wanted to do something with Diana that she had asked him before he had seen her with Jack. Run. That would be their mode of transportation, since Derry had taken the car. Rose walked with them outside and bid them goodbye. Not before telling Ben to take Diana again. She was very fond of her. She winked at Diana as a reminder of what she had told her about when they mated. Diana nodded once in acknowledgement.
Ben shifted into his wolf. Diana watched him in amazement. It was beyond her belief. She was acceptant of the fact that one day she would be able to do this as well. She couldn't wait until she could run alongside Ben, instead of on his back.
