"I haven't been taking my birth control pills. What if I get pregnant?" Diana asked, looking startled. She was not ready yet. Her reaction didn't catch Ben as a surprise, but he was a bit disappointed.
"Is it so bad if you were pregnant with my pups?" Ben asked.
"Ben, we've already talked about this. Yes, I want to have your pups one day, but not right now. There's too much going on." Ben saw her point. He just wanted to hear what she had to say, because based on her reaction, he thought she had changed her mind.
"OK. You're right. I understand."
"I'm glad you do. We have to deal with all of this first. As soon as we figure everything out, then we'll have as many pups as we want." Ben liked the sound of that, but wait...
"What if you're already pregnant?" Ben asked.
"That is impossib
