"Vampires have surrounded the house."
Rose told them, but she did not appear to be as panicked as Diana had been. The very mention of the word 'vampire' had made Diana's heart rate increase. This wasn't the vision she had seen, but the fact that there were vampires in her vicinity, scared her sh*tless.
"What?"
"Diana, calm down. Do not be afraid. I promise with my life I will not let anything happen to you. And besides, Rose is here. They have to get through the both of us to get to you." Ben rubbed her shoulders comfortingly, while he looked Diana directly in the eye. It relaxed her to some degree.
"What do they want?" Diana asked.
"I don't know, but I'm going to find out." Rose said, walking towards the door.
"Wait! You're just going to go out there like that? Aren't you afraid?"
