"Ben is a werewolf."
"I know." Diana replied, shocking her mother. That couldn't be what her mother had wanted to tell her all along.
"You didn't hear me clearly, so let me repeat, Ben is a 'werewolf'." Dione repeated, emphasizing the word werewolf. She thought Diana had not heard what she had said.
"And let me repeat, Mom. I know." Diana's words hit her mother so hard that she had to take a step back in order to keep her balance. How did Diana know about that if she wasn't the one who told her?
"What? How?" Dione mumbled. She had a hard time processing what Diana had said. Evan stopped and looked Ben up and down with disdain. He still hadn't figured out that Ben was the alpha king..
"He told me." Diana simply answered.
"And you're still with him?" Her mother asked her, astonished.
