When Ben arrived at Rose's house, she was already waiting for him with the door open. She was expecting him to show up. She glanced at Diana in his arms and smiled. Ben felt a bit relieved that Rose was smiling. It meant that whatever was happening to Diana was not serious.
"Come in." Rose made Ben lay Diana on the couch.
"What's wrong with her?" Ben asked. He knew Rose had knowledge about why Diana fainted. She had always had the answers..
"She needs to be marked." Rose told Ben. There were no ifs or buts about what needed to be done.
