Ben and Diana were casually sitting on the couch inside his office. He enjoyed the lunch that Diana brought for him, but he couldn't help the uneasy feeling he had inside. He knew that Diana said she was over Jack, but what if she wasn't? He would be upset, but he wouldn't blame her though, because she had history with Jack and he, on the other hand, just came into her life. He hoped that if it came to a point where she had to choose one of them, he would be her choice. Even though he had only known her briefly, he couldn't stand the thought of Diana walking out of his life for good. He would die without her by his side. It was just the way he felt.
"So... Jack is your ex-husband." It sounded more of a statement than a question.
