Sitting on the desk in front of Diana was the application letter from Brenda Lee. There were so many questions that were running through Diana's mind. Why was Brenda applying for a job? The last time she saw her, she had a large stomach. So, even if she had the baby right away, the baby would only be like a week or two old, at most. Maybe it wasn't the same Brenda Lee.
This was an odd situation. If it was Jack's baby, then she wouldn't need to work because, though he was an a*shole, he was pretty loaded. Unless it wasn't his. But she was his mate. He had practically had an affair with her. This was too much for Diana to digest.
