“So what do you think?” I asked Ty, who’d been silent since the moment he arrived. His eyes were still wandering over our surroundings, then as I spoke, they finally came to me. He’d been so quiet today, all I wanted to know was what was running through his head right now. Was he still upset with me? Had something happened? For the first time in a while, I felt nervous standing in front of him. Then finally he broke a smile, stepping forwards to wrap me in his arms.
