Liam “Liam,” the voice was almost haunting as it came through the air, as if my mind couldn’t even believe if it really heard it. My brain was still unable to process whether this moment was real or not. It couldn’t be, my parents are gone, they’ve been gone for so long, or maybe they really hadn’t been. Maybe they’d always been right here, just out of my sight. While tackling my father’s wolf, my mother shifted back and pulled on a tattered dress from the trees. It hadn’t been that long since they left, but somehow she looked years older.
