Chapter 6, They Found Me

932 Words
“Why did you leave us??” said Dante, in a kind of annoyed tone. Dimitri sounded more worried than annoyed. “You worried us, we thought something had happened to you!” Dimitri said over dramatically. Dante lifted me off the ground. “Tell your friend bye, we’re going home.” I rolled my eyes. “I don’t live with you guys.” “Thanks for the reminder, you do now.” Dante said impatiently. I looked across the room at Vivian blushing and smiling at me skeptically. “Bye Vivi, I’ll call you later tonight.” She smiled saying bye and blew me a kiss. Dante carried me bridal style to the car, hopping in the back seat with me as Dimitri drove us away. “How did you find me?” I asked. “We can smell you, Adrian,” Dimitri said, now sounding more annoyed. Dante had me sitting on his lap. He was holding onto me tightly like he was scared I’d run. “Why did you leave us? Do you not want to be with us?” “I just needed to go see my friend.” “You could have told us,” Dimitri said. “We could have driven you here. Why would you walk all this way??” “I’m used to walking everywhere, I don’t have a car. But I can’t just stay with you guys all the time I have school and a job—“ “You’re with us now, you don’t need to work anymore or go to school for that matter. School doesn’t teach you to be a Luna.” Dante said like it should have been obvious. I didn’t mind the thought. School was boring and work was annoying, but I was used to having to do those things. “I’m sorry I left without telling you guys. I didn’t mean to worry you.” “Its okay, baby. Just don’t do it again please,” Dimitri said smiling. “Ever.” Dante whispered in my ear. He was so serious and bossy compared to his flirtatious, easy going twin. When we arrived at the house Dante wrapped my legs around his waist, grabbing my butt and carried me inside. In hopes of not making eye contact with their parents, I buried my face into his shoulder, wrapping my arms around his neck. I didn’t know if their parents were home. As soon as we got into their bedroom Dimitri pulled me off of his brother and put me around his waist, sitting on the bed with me on his lap. “I don’t want you to leave us,” he whined. “You might change your mind once you know about me… “ “Thats not true,” Dante said. I took a deep breath. Vivian was right, this needed to happen as soon as possible. I stood up of the bed. I grabbed Dante by the hand and sat him down next to Dimitri. “You can’t say that until you know… “ “Know what?” they asked in unison. I was trembling and they could tell. They reached out and grabbed a hand each, sending sparks through my arms. “Are we the only ones here?” They nodded their heads. “I’m a mix breed.” The both raised an eyebrow. “You’re half human?” asked Dante. “No…” I took a deep breath, and locked eyes with the twins. “I’m half witch.” They simultaneously dropped my hands, their faces paling. The room was silent for what felt like ages. I couldn’t help it, I had to speak. “You want to reject me, don’t you?” Silence again. “No.” Dante said, his brother looking at him kind of confused. He must have considered rejecting me, and that hurt my feelings. “Mom and dad are the ones who hate witches,” he explained to Dimitri. “We don’t care, and whatever their problem is with witches doesn’t have anything to do with her.” “You’re right,” Dimitri said. He looked at me, “you’re our only mate, we can’t lose you. We don’t care what you are.” I wrapped my arms around them. The feeling of acceptance overwhelmed me and I couldn’t control myself. My whole life I felt like an outsider, traitor peace of sh*t, so their acceptance felt really f*cking good. I went back and forth kissing their cheeks over and over, they giggled at me. “We love you, baby.” Dimitri saying that kinda caught me off guard. It was true though, thats how the mate bond worked with wolves. Even with my witch half dampening my wolf i felt the same way. “I love you too. Both of you. Do you have any questions?” “Can we kiss you?” Dante asked. I giggled, “I meant about me being a witch.” “No, anything you want us to know you can tell us whenever you want.” Dimitri smiled. “So, can we kiss you?” I took a deep breath, staring them in the eyes. They really did seem like nice loving guys, and there was no going back now. I was ready. “I’m ready to be mated…” Their eyes lit up black and the sight of it moistened my underwear. “A-And marked.” In seconds they grabbed me and pinned me to the bed. “Are you sure?” Dante asked desperately awaiting my answer. “Yes.”
