Fated to Twin Alphas

Chapter 5, Panicking

The next morning I awoke before the twins and as I laid there the panic started to set in… All of my thoughts from last night started rerunning through my head and I panicked hard. My fight or flight kicked in and I took off. I wiggled out of bed into the bathroom then teleported myself to Vivian’s house. I knew I wasn’t supposed to leave magic behind because it left a scent, but now that I was of age and my scent was clear, I could tell that my magic just smelled like me, so I wasn’t worried.

“HOLY SH*T!!” Vivian stumbled backwards, understandably stunned by my sudden appearance.

“I didn’t have a choice, if I just left by foot they’d follow my scent.”

“Where did you go last night?? Who would follow you? And what did the Alphas want with you? Did you go with them??”

“Yea… They took me back to their house… Because I’m their mate… “

Vivians jaw dropped like it had in the bar and her face turned pale. I’m sure her concern was the same as mine.

“I know, I’m fu*king panicking!! What are they gonna do when they find out what I am..?”

She took a long deep breath and just stood there for a minute. “I’m not sure… I know the twins have been desperate to find their fated mate for a long time. They probably wouldn’t care, considering they aren’t the ones who have beef with witches… But the former Alpha and Luna, they’d kill you for sure. No one knows what the beef is about, but they despise witches you know that. But I mean, after the twins mark you there’s no way they’d kill you, they would never do that to their children. Everyone knows how terrible it is losing a mate… But letting them mark you without telling them the truth seems kinda—“

“Kinda f*cked up,” I sighed, cutting her off. “That was my thought too. I don’t know what to do!”

“I think the best plan of action is to tell them, then let them mark you immediately after before their parents find out.” she said simply like it was no big deal.

“I-I’m not ready to be marked yet! I just meet these people last night I—“

She sighed. “That’s jus your witch dampening your inner wolf. Try giving her the control and you’ll be fine,” she chuckled. I believed her. She was older than me and had already found her mate. They were a beautiful couple, and very happy together, so I was sure she was VERY in touch with her inner wolf.

“What if I don’t want to be with them… I mean what if I don’t want to be the Luna of our pack?” I asked sheepishly.

“How were the twins acting around you?”

“Huh?”

“Just sum it up how they acted, how they treated you, how was it?”

I laughed slightly, “they were like love sick puppies.”

She looked at me very sternly, “then I don’t think you have a choice. They’ll find you, they always will. Everyone knows how desperate the twins were to find their mate, they’re not just gonna give up on you… “

I sighed. She was right, and the longer I waited to be mated the riskier it would be for me.

“Why don’t you want to be with the twins?” she asked, looking at me like I was crazy.

“I don’t necessarily not want to be with them… I just didn’t want this all to happen so fast.”

“Sorry girl but that’s how it works with wolves. You’re probably only opposed to it because of your other side.”

I took a deep breath, knowing she was right.

*knock knock knock*

Taking us by surprise there was a heavy knock at Vivians door. I raised an eyebrow at her and she shrugged, so I went to open her door as she took a few steps back prepared to wolf out. On this side of town you had to be prepared for anything. People would act normal and knock at your door trying to get in to rob you. Though, this wasn’t about to be a robbery. As soon as I opened the door two large men lunged at me and as soon as I smelled them I realized it was the twins…
