Nadia rushed after Mimie to her room. Mimie was silently crying as she lay on her bed curled up. Nadia walked to her and sat on the edge at the head of the bed caressing her hair

If you will allow me say something then I will tell you you went too far. I know keeping it away from you was not a good thing but if you look at it from Sharon's Point of view you will understand why she was scared

NADIA

No I'm not. I guess I'm upset because i had to find out on my own and I'm more upset because she told my brother what has been going on with me. As for Bob I'm upset at what he threw at me and I'm not forgiving him for that

Fair enough but you know Sharon was hiding it because she was scared you won't want to be friends with her once you find out. So despite the pressure from your brother to make it public and formal she refused. Sharon loves and care about you Mimie so do not hate her and do not stay mad at her for too long please. ...
MIMIE
I know that and I can't hate her but that doesn't mean I can't be mad at her
NADIA

Nadia left while Mimie laid there thinking about someone she hasn't thought of for months. She wondering how he is doing and if he's moved on with someone else or he is still with Jane.

That night, they all had dinner in absolute silence and only their cutleries could be heard. Mimie was the first one to leave with her plate after finishing her food then Nadia followed leaving the love birds

Sharon gently opens the door of Mimie's room peeping to see if she is inside

They laughed before Nadia joined in with a bowl of crackers and fried chicken

Jason and Nathan are just home lazing around. it's a Sunday but they decided to stay home and catch up since this past months has been a busy one for the two of them since they barely had time to have a chat with each other

They say she is only present when there is a board meeting and it's through an audio call. They say she is very pretty and is the girl Mr Fotso has been pursuing for a long time reasons why he isn't interested in any other girl and to top it all she is the daughter of a very close family friend

So She will be coming in tomorrow and everyone at the company is eagerly waiting for tomorrow to finally see the mysterious vice president. The brain behind the company's highest achievement

Wao I can imagine. You know when you talk of beauty with brains, I haven't seen anyone as pretty as Mimie not even Jane cuz she doesn't come close but Sharon is indeed a competitor. Gosh I miss those girls

Last I heard was she also moved out. I guess she couldn't live under the same room with someone who hurt her best friend

You know at first I thought Jane was Mimie's best friend. Because when I saw Sharon, I felt her relationship with Mimie is sloppy but it turns out to be the opposite

The following morning, Mimie Sharon and Nadia are all set for Mimie's big day. They headed downstairs for breakfast where Bob was already seated waiting for them. Nadia and Sharon greeted before taking their seat but Mimie didn't. They still had their breakfast in silence but as Mimie was about getting up, Bob broke the silence

I know I crossed the line yesterday but please can you stop being mad at me? The silent treatment is killing me

I will forgive you only on one condition

I want a trip to Dubai with Nadia Sharon and Henry. You are going to sponsor everything from our flight to our lodging food and shopping spree

The next day, Jason arrives at work earlier than usual and that goes for everyone. They are all ready and waiting for the vice president. Few minutes later, Sonia rushes in informing all about their arrival so they all gather in the conference room. The door opens revealing the ceo.

Good morning everyone and thanks for being here. without much delay, I present to you your vice president Miss Mimie Gisele
Mimie walks in and everyone's eyes where on her. She walked towards Bob hug him tight before standing by him smiling. On the other hand, Jason couldn't believe who he was seeing as he stood frozen on his spot shocked and at the same time mesmerised by her beauty. He was thinking to himself if his eyes are playing tricks on him cuz he can't believe Mimie is standing there and looking prettier than ever.

Hello everyone as Mr Fotso here earlier mentioned I'm Mimie Gisele your vice president and I'm so happy to finally join you all. So I hope we will all get along and work in harmony for the betterment of the company thank you all
They all applauded as Bob began introducing the company's staffs to her. He introduced everyone and it was now the Gm's turn

Princess this is Mr Douglas our General Manager and he will be working hand in hand with you since he will be reporting directly to you
MIMIE
Nice meeting you Mr Douglas and hope to have a good work relation with you (She offered him a hand shake which he accepted )
JASON

They held each other's hand longer than expected as they gaze into each other's soul. Bob noticed it and intentionally cleared his throat breaking the staring contest

You all can go back to your offices and desk while Mr Douglas stays. Mr Douglas please do show Mimie here to her office. Princess please do go with him Sharon is waiting for me to drop her home
MIMIE
Thought Nadia was going to do that?
BOB
Yeah she was but she needed to leave right away so she could not drop her off
MIMIE
Okay lover boy see you later (He gives her a peck and leaves)
JASON

They made their way silently to her office with Jason leading the way. She got into the huge office admiring the decorations and the vastness

He walked up to where she was standing and hugged her despite her struggling he didn't let go

He finally let her go but not stepping away from her as he looked at her with hurt filled eyes

You moved right..? I do not blame or hold it against you cuz it's all my fault but I want you to know that I never stopped loving you. Jane and I never happened neither did it with any other girl but if he makes you happy then I will do my best to stay out of the way. Thank you for forgiving Mimie it means a lot to me thank you. He leaves and Mimie breaks down. She made her way to her office bathroom and cried out her eyes. She can't believe she still has feelings for Jason after all this time. After cleaning up herself she goes back and got down to work
