EPISODE SIXTEEN JASON'S POINT OF VIEW

We arrived the company and went our separate ways. I was still down because of the reply I got from Mimi which made me lost focus through out the time I was at work.

After work, I left as early as possible and headed straight for a snack not minding the fact that I'm still in work clothes. it is a Friday so I called my friends to come join me which they all did.

"Did you do it ? Nathan ask

"I did but she still didn't forgive me I replied

"But do you think she will likely forgive you ? Nathan asks

"I kissed her and she did kiss back but then she told me I'm in for a long ride I replied.

"Wao that's not a good one says Nathan

"Guys we are lost here. what's going? Collins asked

"Jason ran into Mimi or more like Mimi is Jason second boss says Nathan

"What! So what happens now Collins asks

"Jason wants her back but she isn't willing to give him a chance and more so, it seems she is dating Jason's big boss Mr Fosto Nathan explains

"Wao that's gonna be hard says Fred

"So now what? Collins asked

"I do not know what to do anymore I replied

"you can't let go ? ask Fred

"Bro are you serious right now? Nathan ask Fred

"What? she isn't giving him a chance. wait, you want him running after her? for how long? asks Fred

"And that's the best thing to do? Have you forgotten it's Jason here who caused all this says Nathan

"Facts we can't deny but he has apologised and the girl doesn't wanna give him a chance so what now? Collins ask

"So you expect Jason to say sorry and let her be like, it's okay I do forgive you ? Guy you know it doesn't work that way. Jason needs to make her see that he is really sorry and is deserving of a second chance Nathan replies

"Fred Nathan has a point says Collins

"Okay fine. so Jason what do you think asks Fred

"I will do as Nathan says. I need to show her how sorry I am and how serious I am about us being together again I told them

"That's more like it man. cheers to that says Nathan.

The guys and I had shots upon shots. Nathan invited over his girl Sandra who came with a couple of her friends. I excused myself and headed for the rest room where I did my business, got out and washed my hands before drying them with a tissue. I was about leaving when my path was blocked by Sandra Nathan's girl.

"Sandra are you okay? I asks

"of course I am Jason she replies

"okay.....why are you blocking my path? I asked her

"You can't tell me you are oblivious to the fact that I'm attracted to you she says

"Sandra you are best friend's girl so I can never have such thoughts about you or try to notice if you are attracted to me or not. I have someone I do love and I believe Nathan most have told you about it so please erase the thought's you have about me.

"You are right he did mention a certain girl called Mimi and he also told me, the Mimi is already with another

"It doesn't matter, it doesn't really matter cuz even if at the end of the day I do not have her, I will definitely not go for my best friend's girl I told her.

"You just made me have the hots for you even more. She says before pushing me up against the wall. I want you Jason, I want you so bad that I can't explain why but there is this fire in me which only you can quench she says seductively with her fingers caressing my skin

"Sandra please stop I can't do this and not with you of all pipo I told her sternly but she shocked me with a kiss and at the corner of my eye, I saw someone like Mimi so I immediately pushed her away wiping my lips. How can you do this to Nathan huh? He is a great guy and he loves you so much. He's been so attentive with you so much that it sometimes scares me he will lose it if you leave him. when I notice you were looking at me in the wrong way, I wanted to warn him about you but the way he always talk about you and the amount of love I see in his eyes when he talks about you, I decided to let it go thinking maybe I read you wrongly that day. But today you just made me realise you do not deserve a great guy like Nathan I told her angrily

"So what you gonna do now huh? she asked. Tell him I have feelings for you or how I kissed you? Try it and see if he will believe you or me she replies smirking

"What do you mean by that I ask confused

"If you dare tell him I will make sure I destroy your friendship so better keep your mouth shut

"Wao you got many sides huh I asked baffled

"I could show more pleasing sides if only you can accept me she responded

"I will never betray a friendship of years for a woman not worth it at all

"Your lost then. And hey Jason, watch your back because I might do something in the future which you will regret she says before leaving. I walked back to our table and the guys were still drinking and chatting away. I didn't feel as to anymore so I looked round to see if I really did see Mimi but there was no sign of her so I silently thank God. We came back home and surprisingly , Nathan didn't bring her and by her I mean Sandra home as usual.

"I will go freshen up and go to bed. Good night Nathan I told him leaving

"I thought we promised to tell each other everything no matter how bad it is says Nathan halting me.

"What do you mean by that Nate I asked as I turned around facing him

"I'm talking about Sandra. I know she has a thing for you and I also know she kissed you today. Hearing that got me panicking

"I swear to you bro I didn't kiss back and I do not have a thing for her believe me i nervously told him

"Why Didn't you tell me Jay? it's been seven months and counting come on he yelled

"I actually wanted to tell but when I saw how much you love her, I got scared and kept quiet. Minus that, she hasn't made a move throughout this months so I thought I read her wrongly until today i urgently replied

"If I hadn't seen it, would you have told me?

"This time, Yes I would but I needed to look for a way to do it so you could believe me. I'm sorry Nate but she isn't good for you I told him

"where did I go wrong? he asked

"You didn't go wrong buddy. You are a great guy so it's her lost not yours I Said comforting him

"I can't believe I was planning on proposing to her he replies as the tears silently slide down his face

"It's great you didn't propose. I know how you feel and I know it won't be easy getting over her but trust me, it's worth getting over her I told him

"Thanks man. Thanks for having my back but we have a problem says Nathan

"What do you mean? I do not understand

"Mimi saw when she kissed you says Nathan

"what ! I exclaimed. Damn........I knew I saw someone like her but I thought it was the alcohol dealing with me. f**k what I'm I going to do? I just...I haven't even....damn what's going on? what I'm I going to do, what I'm I going do, what I'm I going to doooooooooo? I panicked

"I do not know Jay and I'm not in the right frame of mind to give you any advice as it stands. sorry bro goodnight he said and left. I paced up and down the living room before deciding to sleep over it
