What time does the economics class begin? Max asks Anne, pretending not to know. 9:45, Anne replies without looking at his face and continues reading. I'm Max. And you? Anne.(she replies without still looking at his face) Can I sit next to you? sure you can, after all this place is not mine. What book are you reading? She continues reading the book pretending not to have heard him. Anne? I heard you the first time okay? and as you can see I'm very busy here with my book so if you don't mind, let me read my book in peace. ouch! that was hard, teased Max. Hey, I just want to be your friend okay ? I mean no harm. This time Anne looks at his face and forces a smile. Do you care for some? Max reaches into his pocket and brings out a bar of chocolate. She nods and take a bite. Friends? Max asks, reaching out his hand and smiling. Yeah, friends. Anne replies. They get lost in their conversation until it was time for their next class. They both enter the class together. Max and the boys exchange looks and they smile at one another.
