Thank you for reading Golden Wings, I hoped you enjoyed it! If you've been with me for a while, you might have previously read a short version of this story in the Forest Of The Fearless anthology. Originally, I intended to simply extend that version, adding in parts to represent the beetle (which was skipped over because of word count restrictions) and flesh out the romance between Lina and Trent (though that part did happen compared to the original!) As time passed, and I wrote other books in the Untold Tales series (and I got the covers!) I realised my vision of the story had changed significantly - even if some of the plot points and dialogue remained the same.
