Letisha's POV
The loud bang rattled the walls, shaking the chandelier above us. I barely had time to turn my head before the front door flew open, crashing against the wall with a deafening crack. Adrian was on his feet before I could process what was happening.
“Stay here," he ordered before disappearing from the kitchen.
“Like hell," I muttered defiantly and hurriedly followed behind him.
My feet skittered to a halt just behind Adrian in the living room, and my breath hitched as men began spilling through the now-open door. Six…seven of them stalked in, carrying the distinct scent of sweat and alcohol. If not for their arrogant gait and definite malice in their gazes, then the fact that all of them were wielding a weapon clearly indicated their bad intentions.
