*Arthemis's POV*

Each step we take, were one closer step to home. I can feel Noah's tenseness, it's rubbing off on me and I don't know how my parents are going to react to this. I know     Lance and Delilah will be ecstatic, but I don't know how soothing my parents will find when they see their daughter being mated to the son of the king who started the war to find me. But I feel as though I can do anything with Noah by my side. I grip his hand when we reached the castle entrance... the guards are hesitant, but they let me and Noah pass. I walk down the corridor, past my two best friends who looks as if they are about to faint any second now and into the dining room... I smell them there and shoot Amelia and Lily an apologetic look. 

I release Noah's hand and look at him," You don't have to come with me, I can do this on my own." "I will not cower in front of your parents Arthemis. I am doing this." , he says placing his hand on the small of my waist. I take a deep breath and push the doors open. My mother rush to my side, tears streaming down her face, my father has no facial expression whatsoever. When my mother released me from her embrace, I take my place next to my mate. My siblings look intimidated by Noah. I clear my throat," Mother, Father, this is my mate. Noah. He's the Alpha of the-", I hesitate. "The Nightfall pack.", I finish. My father stands up, furious, grabs my hand roughly and pulls me behind him.A deep growl escapes from Noah's throat, he's clearly not impressed with my father. He looks Noah in the eyes,"You think you could make her believe she's your mate? She can't even shift yet. I wont allow her to be mated to you, you just want her power.", he snarls. "We are true mates, I found her on the forest floor, I smelled her aroma.", Noah says taking a step closer. "You just want her because she's the Alpha Female!", my father continues. I'm the Alpha Female? "Father that's impossible... Lance was born first.", I say in disbelief. "We swapped your birthrights because we wanted to prevent delusional people like Noah and Luann from taking you away from us. We wanted you to find your true mate, live a normal life.",he says. "Live a normal life? YOU KEPT ME LOCKED UP FOR 18 YEARS! Not once did I live a normal life and now you want to take me away from my mate?! And for the record, I can shift", and I shifted into my white wolf and then back to my human form. I walk over to Noah, but my father keeps a steel grip on my arms. "Let go of me! You were the one who wanted me to leave, Lance told me so himself!", I say. My father looking at Lance with a pained look on his face. "I am marrying you off to someone else, so forget about this Noah.", my father says. I break free my face filled with disgust,"Never." and with that I grabbed Noah's hand and ran towards the stables. I grab Prancer and Noah jumps on behind me. I hear my father shifting snarling at me. I urge Prancer on, and we loose him. "Where are we going?", Noah asked holding on to me. 

"Home.", I say and I head to Mirella. I try to remember every map I've ever saw of the kingdom and follow it. I refuse to ever return to Wendlyn. I am going home.
