Chapter Twenty-Seven April 17. I wonder if he knew. I’m not sure why I did, it really wasn’t that important or memorable as far as life events went, and yet, it was decidedly monumental to me. It was a rebirth of sorts. It was the beginning of finding myself, or at least a big part of myself. I know I am far more than a slave to my desires – quite literally on many levels – but the day Emm walked into my life exactly one year ago was pivotal in a lot of ways.
