Episode five

"ladies first"he said acting like a gentleman,I hurried up the stairs to freshen up and get some learning materials for my unannounced lesson,Dax was left alone in the living room,"oh God,I have misplaced my manners,I couldn't even tell him to sit while he waits for me"I said unbuckling my sandals.

As I walked down stairs,the thought of what an wearing filled my head,a red tank top and Jean trouser,I was minding my steps, surprised he welcomed himself and was watching a TV show,I sat down on a couch opposite his,

"hey are you set"he asked with his still on the TV.

"yes"I said looking down

"come over here,I can't stretch and teach"he said turning to me,I found it difficult to stand up but I needed to,I walked over to where he was and sat beside him,he flipped pages over and over again,

"what subject do you feel you cant really do on your own"he asked

"Economics and mathematics"I said.

"just that huh"he asked.

"yes"I replied

"Economics, let's take economics for thirty minutes and do mathematics after,is that okay with you"he asked

"yes"I answered.

I needed to apologise for not giving him a seat and keeping him late.

"thank you"I said

"huh,for what"he said looking at me.

"for your help and everything and I'm sorry for every little mistakes I have done so far"I said looking down.

"okay and what is the little mistakes you have done"he asked

"I didn't offer you a seat earlier "I said slowly.

"awwwn miss goodie shoes"he said with a cocky smile and cup my cheeks and looked deeply into my eyes,my heart beat raced,I couldn't breathe well because the distance between us was too close,my subconscious mind kept on speak in my head that made me think he wanted taking my first kiss,I had a tingling feeling inside my head that caused me to close my eyes slightly.

"Try and read more often and take care of yourself"he said and I snapped my eyes open,he dropped his hands,waved a good bye and zoomed off.

I walked slowly back inside,why did I act that way,it is embarrassing,he is so brainy, imagine he quoted two pages of what I can't quote half correctly,he is an Adonis with brain ,I will learn to that standard,I will get to be like him sooner.

I can't let my guard down besides am far from home wouldn't act like i'm in my hometown.

I parked the plate and reminds of pizza on the ground to the kitchen and went upstairs to my room,I sat on the bed slowly,I picked my phone and scroll down my contact list and dailed mom's number,it beeped severely but she didn't take her calls,I placed the on my reading table,cover myself with duvet.

I left the bed yawning,I needed doing a lot of house chores,I walked down stairs slowly and headed to kitchen,I washed the dishes and clean up the kitchen, dropped some clothes into the washer including my uniform,After cleaning the living room I went back to the lobby rinse the clothes and spread them on the dryer,the weather is perfect but I had hoodies on because I felt cold,After Everything I walked to the kitchen and make myself a cup of coffee and took some crackers.

I sat on the couch eating and drinking when I heard the door bell ringing,I walked towards the door and open it,I wasn't surprised to see him but I never thought he would come this early,he stood with one hand buried in his pocket and the other holding a polythene.

His shirt hugged his body so well that he left some button open which revealed the skin of his firm chest,he really look gorgeous I must confess,I wonder what kind he is,he coughed and it snapped me from my thoughts.

"can you let me in"he asked smiling,I left the way and he walked in.

I couldn't say anything,I only concentrated on the coffee and crackers.

"Hope you had a good night rest"he asked and I nodded because it came unexpectedly.

"Are you sure"he asked again

"yeah, how about you"I said

"Am good, uhmm before I forget here"he said and handed me a food pack filled with pancakes, it's smells well that I had to look at him and asked "who made this".

"I made it"he cut in sharply.

I opened the pack and pick some pancakes and drop the pieces into my mouth.

"I made some for breakfast and decided to pack some for you atleast it will help you answer my questions and concentrate"he said keeping a straight face.

" you are not serious"I said with mouthful of pancakes.

"you mean you can cook orhh looking for who to entice"I said and roll my eyes at him.

"what makes you think I can't cook,I can cook very well"he said and I scoff.

"unlike some girls that takes coffee and crackers for breakfast, don't worry I will get Gestide "he said not sparing me a glance.

I was tired and feeling sleepy but I couldn't say anything about it,I decided to man up and talk to him.

"Dax,am tired"I said,he didn't answer so I had to act up.

"it's late already don't you want to leave huh, won't your parents be looking for you"I said and act concerned.

"I will leave when I want to and I live alone so don't be disturbed"he said.

"Dax,am tired"I repeated in case he didn't hear me at first,

he turned deaf ears and continued with what he was doing.i will also turn deaf fo him,I stretched my hands close to his face, he looked up immediately and I felt his breathe on my skin, I push my books close and lay on the bare ground facing the ceiling,he gave me a confuse look,I didn't bother looking back at him,I close my eyes tightly and wanted taking yoga."hey"he said but I acted like I wasn't hearing him,I felt him tap me,I felt he was going to tickle me,so I had to roll to the other side of the room,I opened my eye slightly and saw him close his books,I close my eyes and smiled.
