POV: Killian I woke up and my mind went straight to her before I'd even fully opened my eyes. The look on her face when our eyes met across that parking lot lingered in my thoughts, refusing to fade. Something in it had looked almost like it hurt her, watching me leave with someone else. Couldn't be, though. She had no reason to care where I went or who I went with. More likely she was still pissed at me for the kiss, and fair enough, I was fairly pissed at myself too.
