He was interrupted by the loud sound of clicking heels before the door flung open. Bella walked in wearing a tight face.
She came in dressed in black, sharp from head to toe, with several staff members trailing behind her. No softness. No pretending. She looked like she was here to collect something she believed already belonged to her.
“Since everyone’s already here,” she said, “let’s make this official.”
