Shattered to pieces

The sun began to brighten the entire universe. Livia, who at that time had just woken up from her sleep, could hazying hear a commotion outside the door. She immediately put on a nightrobe to cover her slightly sexy nightgown.

When her door opened, there were a lot of reporters standing in front of Diana's room taking pictures of what happened inside.

Livia was very curious about what was going on. She began to feel uneasy in her heart, she was very worried about her friend's condition.

Livia then broke through the crowd of reporters and she was very shocked when she saw Diana and Jason were on the bed without any clothes. Diana looked down and covered her whole body using a hotel blanket as well as Jason who still looked shocked by the incident.

"What are you guys doing?" Livia looked at those two people with anger inside her eyes. her hands clenched into fists.

Her sharp voice immediately caught all the attention of the reporters who had not noticed her presence at first.

"Miss Livia, can you explain what happened between your best friend and fiancé?"

"Do you know their relationship?"

"How do you feel right now Miss? Can you give us an explanation about this incident? "

Livia's head feel so dizzy while hearing the questions of the reporters who were now focused on her and shooting at her. She had mixed feelings seeing the embarrassing incident that happened between his best friend and fiancé.

A moment later, several men wearing black suits entered the room while shooing the reporters out. Yes, they are Livia's bodyguards who are indeed guarding Livia secretly on the orders of her father Mr. Willy Tan.

Now only Jason, Diana, and Livia left there. Livia looked at those two people with fiery eyes.

However, a man's shout turned her gaze towards the direction of the voice came from.

“Diana! I didn't think you were a girl like this. You never let me touch you one bit, but you played with your best friend's fiancé! " It turned out that the voice came from Danny, Diana's boyfriend, who had just come because he saw a live broadcast on his social media.

Danny looked very angry, his face darkened, his beaded eyes flashed at the embarrassing incident in front of him right now. Diana is a woman he really respects and has taken care of with all his heart all this time. But now the girl is instead on the bed, naked with another man.

“Danny, this is not what you think! I--"

“Not what we thought? A man and a woman naked together on the bed, what do you think of it? " Livia interrupted Diana's words before she could finish her sentence. She glare at Diana and Jason with a deadly gaze.

Diana was silent, she didn't know how to explain herself. All of this incident was unimaginable. She knew that her best friend and her lover must be very angry and hated her at this time. But she really never intended to snatch Jason from Livia, nor did she ever intend to betray Danny, who had always looked after her so well. 

She really knows that Jason loves Livia with all his heart. Likewise Danny who loves her very much, but this is indeed her fault because she could not withstand the effects of the drug or try to run away from Jason last night, she was just too careless.

"Liv, please listen to our explanation first, dear. I really don't know what happened, I was drunk last night and--"

“Stop it! I don't want to hear any excuses now. You two are incredible!” Livia's face turns red, with anger and hurt, she immediately stepped her foot to leave this damned place.

"Livia, wait !!" Jason tries to stop Livia but his call is completely ignored by the woman.

Meanwhile Danny, who is being controlled by anger, approaches Jason and "BRUGHH" he throws his fist on Jason's face until his lips are slightly torn, fresh drops of blood are clearly seen in the corners of Jason's lips.

"You bastard man! I consider you as my best friend all this time." Danny clenched his fist again and stabbed Jason in the stomach with punch. Jason, who was still on the bed, groaned in pain when he got a hit from Danny. Meanwhile Diana is very surprised to see Danny beating Jason. She immediately covered Jason with her body so that Danny's punch stopped immediately.

"Danny please stop! I beg you not to beat Jason again. He's already in so much pain, he could die!" Diana's tears filled the corners of her eyes.

Danny gets mad seeing Diana protecting Jason. He looked at Diana and Jason with disgust feel.

“Hmphhh! Are you even crying over this guy now because he got beaten up? Why? Does your heart hurt seeing me beating him? Don't you know that my heart is even more painful than what he's experiencing right now?" Danny yelled at Diana as he pushed Diana body aside until the woman bounced onto the side of the bed.

"That's not it, Danny, you misunderstood, I--"

Before Diana had time to answer, Danny interrupted her first.

"Never mind! I don't want to hear your explanation anymore. Because you like him so much and so afraid he will get hurt, I will let you stay with him." Danny's jaw tightened as he said those words. His heart was pricked by a very sharp thorn, it even seemed like doesn't want to beat anymore, he felt his life so lost at this time.

"Danny, don't say that." Diana's face was filled with tears, her heart ached to hear the words of the man she loved.

"Enough! Diana, from today on, just assume we never know each other. I will move abroad after this, I hope you are happy with your choice!" Danny turned around and walked toward the door, a drop of tear dripping down the corner of his eye.

Diana could only cry sobbing at Danny's pullout. Her chest felt so tight that made it difficult for her to breathe.

Meanwhile Jason just hissed in pain while holding his face, which looked battered by Danny's beating.

"Ahhhh! Damn! why did I get so drunk last night?" He immediately got up from the bed and took his clothes which were scattered on the floor, he intended to chase Livia and explain everything. 

He really knows the character of his lover, it will be difficult for him to get that woman back but he is really afraid if he has to lose Livia. But Diana's presence made him realize something.

"Diana, explain to me! How come we end up on one bed like this?" Jason glared at Diana asking for an explanation. He really forgot what had happened last night between him and Diana.

Diana just sat on the bed while lowering her face, she tried to control her tears which were still dripping. Her mind was very confused right now, she really didn't know what to say.

For a moment, she took a deep breath and tried to answer Jason's question honestly.

"If I said that I was drugged last night by someone, can you believe me?"

Jason, which had heard Diana's answer, narrowed his eyes at Diana in disbelief. How could anyone want to harm her, what was the benefit? this is an absurd excuse.

"What do you mean? How could someone else want to destroy you! Is this just your trick?" Jason said, he really felt Diana was just making it up at the moment.

"What do you mean? If you didn't come to my room last night then none of this would have happened! ” Diana snapped at Jason and looked at him sarcastically. She felt angry, 'cause of Jason she had messed with last night, now she had to lose Danny.

“You took advantage of the situation on purpose! You clearly know that I only love Livia! " Jason's voice tone were increasingly bursting at Diana's shout.

"Are you crazy? What do you mean? I'm the one who is at a disadvantage here!” Diana raised her voice. She glanced at Jason with hatred, her face turns very red because of anger.

The two of them are blaming each other now for what happened to them last night. But whose fault? No one can answer that.

"Never mind I don't want to discuss this matter again. Don't ever think that I'll be responsible for what had happened," replied Jason. He immediately walked away, it seemed he was not in the mood to fight with that woman. He felt it would be best for him now to find Livia and apologize.

Diana covered her face with both hands. her shoulders seemed to tremble from sobbing. Now that she has lost her virginity, she also has to take Jason's accusations for granted. Danny, the lover he loved, even left her. Not to mention her best friend Livia, who must really hate her right now. 

Her world was turned upside down overnight, all the sweet dreams she had, now shattered to pieces in an instant.

"Why did everything turn out this way? Arrghhh!”
