It has been almost a month since the painful incident, the media has stopped reporting the slightest bit about it. The news is as it lost in the earth without a trace at all. All media companies are easily managed by Livia because Tan Group is one of the largest shareholders in Asean Corp, a Business Association that controls all the small companies in it.

Days go by as usual, it's just that Livia is no longer accompanied by her friend or fiance after work. It felt like she missed a little with their togetherness. Especially Diana who has been her best friend since childhood. It's not that she doesn't miss Jason, but her heart still can't forgive what this man did.

Livia seemed to be sitting behind her desk, focused on staring at the laptop in front of her. The sound of knocking on the door distracted her attention for a moment until she invited the person behind the door to enter her office.

"Have you investigated the things I ordered?"

"Yes, Miss. This is a folder containing all the information I have gathered. " Sam handed a brown envelope to Livia while bowing his head as a sign of respect.

Livia opened the envelope and watched carefully, with a small grin.

“Tch, it turns out that old man really wants to make me as his weapon, so he doesn't have to get his hands dirty. Never mind, you can come back and continue your work."

"Miss, are we not going to do anything?" Sam looked a little doubtful.

"What should we do? He couldn't do anything to force me to act. The paid media are already silent. If he really didn't want to get his hands dirty then he wouldn't dare appear at a time like this. We'll just wait until he can't wait. "

Livia looked back at her laptop screen and continued her work in a relaxed manner.

"Alright miss, then I'll excuse me first." Sam walked away from there without asking any more questions.

After Sam's departure. Livia linked her fingers and rested them on her forehead. She seemed very depressed with all her feelings and thoughts.

Soon Sam returned to Livia's room and just walked in without knocking on the door, he looked in a hurry. His face looked pale and a little nervous.

"What's with you Sam? Can't you knock on the door first? " Livia, who was pensive, gasped at the arrival of Sam. She cast a sharp gaze at her assistant.

"Miss, I'm sorry, but something bad happened ...."

Livia's eyes flared at Sam's words. It was unusual for Sam to hesitate to break the news to herself.

"What bad thing? Hurry up and continue! " Livia began to feel bad. She was getting impatient to find out what bad news was causing Sam to worry.

“Miss… Miss Diana attempted suicide. She is currently in critical situation."

Sam continued his words quickly while lowering his head. He did not dare to look at the face of his boss who looked darkened.

"Deg" Livia's heart stopped while hearing Sam's word.

“Hurry up and prepare the car. Let's go to the hospital right now." She ordered, packing her bags.

All the way to the hospital, Livia was silent as she threw her eyes out of the car window. Her mind was filled with a very confused inner war.

Sam and the driver who sat in the front of the car were also silent. They didn't dare to talk to Livia, because the look on her face was so unpleasant.

Livia's flashback about her childhood growing up together with Diana appears, Diana and herself getting to know each other since the beginning of school in kindergarten, at that time Diana lost her mother and father in an accident, Livia comforted her and encouraged her everyday so that the close friendship between the two of them started.

Since then they have been everywhere together. Even when Livia lost her mother, Diana was the one who always accompanied her through the toughest times of her life.

"Diana, you can't die." She muttered softly without being able to be heard by anyone.

She was very confused, how should she behave? Even though she had investigated and learned the truth about that night, in her heart still felt a lump like a rock pressing against her without giving her a chance to breathe. Moreover, the event that night also involved Jason, the man who became her lover for 2 years.

The marriage that was supposed to happen this month, fell apart. Although the two families are still postponing and have not decided how the relationship between Jason and Livia will continue, Livia still cannot accept this.

"Miss, we're here," said Sam as he opened the car door for Livia.

Sam's sudden call, shattered all of Livia's daydreams. She hurriedly got out of the car and walked towards to the hospital to ask about Diana's whereabouts.

Sam followed his master's steps in haste because Livia was walking very fast. Meanwhile, the driver waits in the car, which is now perfectly parked.

"Nurse, is there any patient named Diana? She just got in with suicide case," ask Livia.

"Ohh, there is Miss. Now she is being handled in the operating room by our doctor. Please, Miss, go through this hallway and you will go straight to the operating room," said the nurse, pointing her hand  at a hallway on the right.

"Thank you, Nurse." Livia walks toward the hallway.

Meanwhile Sam nodded his head to the nurse as he continue his walk.

When Livia arrived in front of the operating room, she saw the nanny who looked after Diana childhood. 

She approached the old nanny and sat down beside her.

"Auntie, how is Diana now?" ask Livia. 

The nanny aunt who noticed Livia's presence beside her burst into tears while hugging her master's best friend.  

"Aunt, don't cry, what's going on? Why is Diana  doing stupid things like this?"

“Miss, I don't know. Mr. Gerards come to our house earlier. But I don't know what he was talking about to Miss Diana.

 When Mr. Gerard left, Miss Diana came into her room crying. She didn't even  come down for lunch, so I went to her room to ask Miss Diana to eat. But then I found Miss Diana in the bathroom unconscious. She cut her wrist. The blood is very much." The aunt was sobbing on Livia's arms.

"It's okay, it's okay ..." said Livia although she was hesitant herself.

Not long after, some nurses seemed to push the patient's bed out of the Operating room to the  ward. 

Diana lay there unconscious. A middle-aged doctor walked over Livia and the nanny's before they could follow Diana into her ward.

"Are you Miss Diana’s family?" he asked the Nanny.

"Yes, doctor." The nanny answered the doctor's question.

"Come to my room." The doctor directed the nanny and Livia to his room.
