A Calling

2833 Words

[Harmony] I woke up to my phone ringing. It pissed me off. The kids were with Cam’s parents and I actually had time to sleep in. The sky was dimly lit; the sun wasn’t even up yet. Why was he calling this early? Panic flooded me. Had something happened to Echo? Or to my in-laws? Were my kids okay? Was he calling because someone called him? “Trent? What happened? Is Echo alright? Did something happen to the kids? What’s going on?”
