Hazel fumbled into one of her closets and grinned as she found what she was looking for. She smiled, realizing how happy Damien will be after he sees it. She didn't think he will remember today. It was expecting too much from him. But he literally outshone himself this time. He remembered and regardless of the fact that she took the entire thing in a light hearted way, she was actually very touched. By the fact that he remembered, by the fact that he tried to go out of his way once again to surprise her. There were no more doubts left in her heart regarding him and the relief that the realization brought, it lit her up from inside. Grabbing her phone and grimacing at the darkness, she headed back to the living room.
