New Feels 🎆

*Amelia* Liam had more energy than any of us as he dragged us from department store to department store. We got everything I needed for Hockey and then some. We pretty much spent the whole day shopping and goofing off. At least, Liam and I were while Dad supervised.... at first. It was the most fun I've had in a while. We all needed this. I could also tell that these two brothers needed this. The more time we spent with Liam the more I saw Jake loosen up. Yes, I said Jake. He was not coach around his brother. No matter how much he tried. This was a whole new side that I was grateful to see. It made me realize that Jake was kind of sad. It made me realize how selfish I was. I was so wrapped up in my own issues that I didn't seem to notice that Jake wasn't as happy as he could be. I can't let him go back to the same old grump he was before we got here. When we get some time alone, we're gonna have a serious talk about life. Liam was so relaxed and carefree. You just couldn't help but have this peace around the guy and there was never a moment when he didn't crack a joke or try to make either of us smile. He couldn't wait to tell me about all the trouble they used to get into during their high school and college days. I have to admit they were some pretty wild stories, like the time Jake found out where their high school dean lived so he could steal his Chevy Camero overnight and drove it 3 hours away just to leave it in the middle of the zoo. It was sunken in the little lake inside the middle of the zoo. "Wow, you must've really hated the guy." I turned to Jake eyeing him over my green tea. Somehow, we ended up at the mall, and lucky for us, it was pretty slow, so it wasn't crowded at all. We had grabbed a couple of burgers and were in the food court now sitting together at a table enjoying our meals. "Oh yeah, for sure. He was a major dick." Liam chuckled and reached for a napkin to wipe his mouth, too eager to spill the beans. "Let's not skip the part where the douche was a major creep and would harass most of the girls in school. Someone had to teach him a lesson. "None of those uppity-ass teachers believed the girls that came forward, but we knew the truth. Can't deny what you see with your own eyes." I watched Jake frown and Liam wore a similar expression when I looked over to him as well. I knew there was a story there from the awkward silence that followed. I used this opportunity to excuse myself. "And where do you think you're going, young man." Liam eyed me with a fake stern look that made me giggle. tits> "There are a couple of stores I want to shop around in without my two overbearing bodyguards. Thank you very much. And put your freakin wallet away I've got my own money. I appreciate the gesture, but I can handle these two very small purchases. "Take some time to chat and finish your food. I'll meet you guys at the Jewelry store you wanted to check out before we stopped here. Give me 30 minutes tops. Love you guys bye!" I hurried up and scurried away before they could object. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I made my way through a*****e called 'Lace, Silk, & Curves'. I saw it on the way in and just couldn't resist. I just wasn't gonna come in with those two. That would've been embarrassing as hell. Besides, I don't need them thinking I'm shopping in here for a guy when it's for me. It was a cute boutique for women on the more curvy side. They had a lot to offer too. They even had a section with body oils, scrubs, lotions, body butters, bubble bath, and perfume. This place is a girl's dream. "Hi, can I help you find anything? Shopping for a girlfriend perhaps?" I looked up to see a beautiful short girl with a platinum straight shoulder-length bob. I looked at her name tag, which read 'Lina.' She gave me a flirty smile that kind of threw me off guard a little as she eyed me up and down. Girlfriend?... Oh Duh! I was dressed like a guy, and I must've been pretty decent-looking to have a girl flirt with me while on the clock. Or is this a normal thing for guys? "Um... actually I am here for my girlfriend. I'm actually looking to surprise her for her birthday so I'll be grabbing a lot. Do you guys have a big bag or basket? Or should I just bring these up to the counter?" I rubbed the back of my neck as I watched her put her hand on her heart and heave a dramatic sigh. "The good ones are always taken. I'm sure she's a lucky girl. Anyway, let me get you started with a basket, and once it fills up, I'll go ahead and take that one from you and hand you another, so you don't get overwhelmed. It's a pretty big store, and we have a lot of good stuff." She gave me a bright smile and handed me a big handbasket. "Thanks for the help, Lina. I'll give you a holler if I get stuck." "No problem at all! I'll be right by the counter restocking inventory. Wow, she was nice and understanding. She would probably make a cool friend. I shrugged and continued on shopping after she left me. By the time I was done, I had six big bags full of lingerie sets and pretty much enough for a mini spa. They had some amazing scents that I couldn't wait to try once we got back home. I even grabbed a small vibrating friend in case being around a certain giant made me a little too hot and I needed a cool down. I've never used one before, but Lina was more than helpful when it came down to explaining the logistics of it. I couldn't tell you the number of times I would start fantasizing about Trenten removing a matching panty and bra set from my body with his teeth. Who knew the minute I started liking someone it'd turn me into a horn dog. "Come back soon Mel! And bring your girlfriend with you next time so we can ask how she enjoyed her birthday." Lina waved goodbye and gave me a wink as I made my exit. I made one more quick stop before I met back up with my 'security detail.' They were at the Jewelry counter trying on watches that looked identical when Liam looked up at me and his eyes widened dramatically. "Two little things my ass." Jake eyed the giant bags in my hands before taking them from me. They'd been doing that all day. Every time we would go shopping in a*****e, they would grab all the bags and leave me with something small to carry or nothing at all. Me being dressed like a boy did not stop them from treating me like their little princess. I'm flattered but it's something I'm not used to. "Hey, at least I made it back on time. What are you guys looking at?" There was no use in arguing about it so I changed the subject easily. "I'm trying to convince my brother here to buy us these watches, but all I'm hearing is excuses." Liam made a pouty face that made me laugh while Jake rolled his eyes at his brother's antics. "I should definitely treat myself but I'm not getting him another watch. And I wouldn't call refusing to add to your collection of thirty-seven other watches an excuse." Jake didn't look like he was gonna budge on the idea at all. It was understandable. "Who keeps thirty-seven watches lying around? I kinda gotta go with Dad on this one." Liam definitely had a problem. "See, that's exactly my argument, though. I need three more to make it even. Don't side with him." He jabbed a finger over at Jake who had a frown set on his face. "You're a nut job. You know that? Just grab what you want so we can go. It's after five in the afternoon already, and I want us to get settled into the cottage as soon as possible." I whipped my head to him so fast I think I have whiplash now. "You can't possibly mean THE cottage. The one behind the mansion that sits amid those weeping willows? Don't play with me guys. My poor heart can't take it if this is a joke. " I looked between both men and they both had big smiles on their faces before Liam spoke up. "Jake told me you almost fainted at the sight of the place and we figured since no one is using it for the time being, you two might as well stay there while you guys are here. We want you to feel as relaxed as possible while you're here. They both exchanged a look that told me it meant a little bit more than that but I couldn't dwell on that for too long before my eyes became misty with tears of joy. The feeling of excitement bubbled within me until I was about to burst. Jake took one look at me and covered his ears while Liam looked at him in confusion. "EEEEEEEEEEEEEPPPPPP!!! Oh, Thank you sooooooooooooo much!" I couldn't contain my excitement as I leaped into both of their arms and planted a kiss on each of their cheeks. "Damn it, woman. Are you trying to blow out my eardrums? Sheesh no more surprises for you from here on out." I threw my head back and laughed as I detached myself from my new two favorite people in the world. I suddenly remembered the gifts I got them as I reached into one of the bags and retrieved their items. I handed them each a brown paper bag. "You don't have to open them now. I'll just tell you what it is. It's part of the reason I needed to do some shopping by myself. I wanted to get you guys a token of my appreciation. Which was a lot harder than I thought knowing that you guys pretty much had everything. "It's a mug and a dog tag. They each have a message engraved on them. Jake, yours says 'World's Greatest Dad' and Liam, yours says 'World's Greatest Uncle'. There is also one of each that says 'World's Greatest Twin.' I got you both that one." They both exchanged looks again before pulling me in for a big group hug. "I love you guys." "We love you too Amelia." "Ditto." A throat clearing behind the counter broke us apart as I finally realized we weren't alone. "Would you be looking at any other pieces today?" The salesman stammered and had a red tint on his face that indicated his embarrassment at our public show of affection. Liam spoke up immediately. "You must be a mind reader, my good sir!" Jake just groaned and shook his head in disbelief as I erupted into a fit of giggles. I was loving the new feels.
