CARRIE’S POV “What is that smell?” I asked as soon as I stepped into the kitchen. I knew it was Arden. I left Asher still comatose on the bed. He looked like he needed more sleep. “I’m cooking,” he answered. He looked refreshed. “I know you’re cooking. I mean, what are you cooking? It smells awful. I can scent oil everywhere,” I carped, pinching my nose. I was lucky I didn’t have terrible morning sickness and no triggering smells that could make me puke..., until now.
