Chapter nine

Just before Johnathan and I left, I used my powers to create a storm, that would make it hard for anyone to follow us. Little did I know that it would affect us so much. “Why did you plan to sail in this violent storm?” Johnathan asked “Do you know how hard it is for someone to follow you when they are being tossed around like oranges in a carriage on a bumpy road? And to make it even worse is you can barely see what is in front of you.” I answered very calmly I saw him turn pale and I knew that I had scared him. After two more days at sea, we finally docked on a Spanish shore, where Alexander waited for us. Johnathan and I walked off of the ship to meet him, at a small back road hidden by trees. “Hello Anna,” Alexander greeted, “I have not seen you in half a year. Then Alexander opened the carriage door for me and lifted me in. Johnathan followed right behind and then the door was closed. Alexander took his place in the driver’s seat and we made our way toward Barcelona. “I can tell that you do not trust Alexander.” J said “You are right Anna. I do not trust him, especially with him knowing who we are.” Johnathan replied “He is under my employment.” I explained further “He works for the head of the government. This is how I know where the Royal Family is.” “So he is a spy?” Johnathan questioned “Since when have we ever worked with spies?” “Since now Johnathan.” I retorted through gritted teeth I saw his eyes narrow, but he did not speak out of turn. We rode in silence for a while before sleep finally claimed me
