“Oh? I guess I’m his type then.”
I dipped into the water before coming back up, letting the water drip down my hair, face and body. I could see Cien watching me from the corner of my eye, he was staring, devouring me with his eyes.
“Now you know why he paid so much for you. But you want to know a secret about his ex-lover?”
Julien whispered the last part in my ear and the moment he did so, Cien practically teleported right at the pool edge with his godlike speed, leaned over, he grabbed Julien, yanking him out of the pool.
“Stop before I hurt you.”
The warning didn’t go unnoticed by Julien and yet, he cracked a smile and looked back at me as he said;
“She was human and she left him for another man. A human man.”
And with that, I could practically hear the bones within Julien’s face
