Tapping on the glass pulls me from my daydream and when I lift my eyes, Damien is standing in front of me, a cocky smile on his face. He motions something to Jack who nods, then throws a puck up and it sails over the glass. Jack catches it and turns to give it to me. I smile and then he’s skating off. Adam and Callan skate by, slapping the glass at Jack, and then they all leave the ice. When we return to our seats, Jack tells me to put tape on the puck and then write the date on it, so I know what game it’s from. The house lights go down and the strobe lights and lasers flash and s***h teal and white, the eerie sound of wild, howling wolves fills the arena. The loudest music known to man pumps around and after a montage of hits and goals, the players are announced. Damien comes out last
