As I sat in the car, gazing out the window, the rain droplets danced across the glass like nature's own lullaby. Each tiny splash was like a gentle caress, soothing my mind and calming my thoughts. The rhythmic beat was hypnotic, lulling me into a state of calm, as if the world outside was washing away my worries, one raindrop at a time. But it was impossible as I felt nothing but a shell. An empty, unhappy one. In an unhappy marriage. Broken from a relationship that did not have any closure but hit me like a storm. My heart was still in pieces and my mind in shambles, one would say the rain will wash away your troubles, but sometimes it feels like it's just adding more layers to hide beneath. My family car drove ahead while I sat in the car reserved exclusively for the Queen of Meridia
