Hira the devil

Hira’s eyes widened looking at the Knife on her throat, and her body shivered in fear that the phone fell out of  her hand

Jude: ANSWER ME

Eliana with teary eyes: she sometimes freezes in fear; she won’t be able to answer you

The door opened violently and Sanjay entered running

Sanjay: HIRA

Then he stopped looking shocked at Jude, and Jude looked at him terrified

Hira with teary eyes: Sanjay, I am scared

Sanjay: Hira, don’t be scared, no will hurt you, everything is going to be okay (then he looked at Jude) Jude, put the knife down, Hira has nothing to do with this

Eliana’s eyes widened and covered her lips, took a step back and shook her head in disbelief

Jude angrily: DON’T COME NEAR ME SANJAY, HIRA HAS EVERYTHING TO DO WITH THIS, SHE IS A DEVIL

Hira closed her eyes tightly in fear, tears flowing on her cheek and Sanjay felt incredible anger from Jude for doing this to his beloved

Eliana with teary eyes: Jude, I am your mother, please put the knife down, you are not like that, you can’t be like that  

Jude looked at her with widened eyes and his hand relaxed its grip on Hira and the knife, he didn’t notice Sanjay when he walked towards him and held his hand that was holding the knife and with his other hand pushed Hira away, Eliana hugged Hira and took her away from them

Jude: LEAVE ME SANJAY, YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND

Sanjay pushed Jude to the wall while holding his hand that was holding the knife and he hit it in the wall several times, Jude screamed in pain then it fell from his hand

Sanjay: HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO YOUR FATHER? AND HOW DARE YOU THREATEN MY HIRA, YOU CRIMINAL

And he punched Jude, Eliana and Hira screamed when Jude fell on the floor and Sanjay raised him again and punched him again, and again

Hira: SANJAY STOP, CONTROL YOUR ANGER

Sanjay stopped punching him and held his head, walking away while shivering in anger and Eliana ran to Jude and raised Jude in siting position, Jude wiped the trickle of blood and looked at Sanjay

Jude: I deserve everything you did to me Sanjay, I betrayed my family, I was blinded by temptations but I felt really guilty after I called Helen to convince her to come with Mia to America with me, and she told me that papa is facing Prison instead of me, I didn’t know he loves me that much

Sanjay looked at him with a sarcastic smile then he held his head again and turned

Jude: I wanted to return with the cheque but I didn’t find it; that is when I knew Hira encouraged me to steal the cheque so she can steal it herself

Sanjay looked at Jude confused then looked at Hira who looked at Jude with widened eyes then shook her head to Sanjay and took a step back

Sanjay: why are you blaming, Hira?!!!HIRA HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS, YOU ARE A LIAR

Jude: no Sanjay, I swear to you, Hira talked me into getting my own life, in the same time a pamphlet in my mail came from a real-estate agency for buying Villas in America, I was tempted I stole the cheque to buy one

Sanjay frowned: that is not Hira’s fault, YOU ARE THE THIEF JUDE  

Jude: but..but I swear on my life she stole my passport and the cheque, I entered the bathroom and left her with my suitcase, I didn’t notice and ran away, then I found out I didn’t have it

Sanjay: SHUT, YOU ARE A LIAR, HIRA WOULD NEVER DO THAT

Then he looked at Hira only to find her looking at her hand bag and when she noticed he is looking at her she flinched and swallowed nervously

Sanjay: Hira?

Hira shook her head and he looked at the handbag then at her then ran towards the bag

Hira: SANJAY, NO

And she tried to stop him but he grabbed her handbag opened it and emptied it on the bed, and Hira covered her lips and tears flow on her cheek, he looked through it then his hand froze for a moment and he held a passport and the cheque fell from inside it, so he left the passport and held the cheque shocked and Hira’s eyes widened

Hira: Sanjay I swear, I didn’t know the cheque is inside it, I just took the passport to prevent him from leaving the country with the cheque

Jude frowned: the cheque wasn’t inside the passport before, Sanjay

Sanjay looked at Hira shocked, and his eyes crowded with tears and Hira sobbed and shook her head

Hira: no, I didn’t take the cheque, I took the passport only and put it under my mattress then I wanted to tell you but I saw you with Nelly hugging and I fainted

Sanjay in low tone: it’s been weeks since, why didn’t you tell me about it then? And why it’s in your bag now?

Hira: I wanted to tell you

Jude: it was a plan with Jagdev Viola’s boyfriend, who turned to be Hira’s half-brother not her cousin, you see the Villas in America, is owned by Jagdev, I wanted to skip the real-estate agency’s commission so I bribed their Janitor and he looked in their papers and told me the name of the owner and his phone number, it’s Jagdev

Eliana: VIOLA SANJAY, HE WILL HURT VIOLA

Jude’s eyes widened: OH MY GOD, HOW COULD I FORGOT (then he looked at Sanjay) Viola Sanjay Jagdev will hurt Viola, it’s their plan, he sent to Hira and told her he will hurt Viola now  

Sanjay looked at Hira with widened eyes, the word plan reminded him when Hira was drunk and said ...

Sanjay: new plan?? I REMEMBER NOW, You said “don’t hurt her, I don’t want the new plan” YOU WERE SPEAKING ABOUT JAGDEV, YOU WANTED TO HURT VIOLA

Hira sobbed: Sanjay, I didn’t want to, you heard me I said I didn’t want that new plan

Sanjay: If so why didn’t you tell me that Jagdev is danger on my sister ? (Then he said sarcastically) oh no wait it’s just the plan that you don’t like, why? what was the old plan? Was it better?

Hira: No Sanjay, believe me, I don’t want anyone to get hurt (then she looked at him with pleading eyes) remember, you said you feel my heart is kind, and you love me and I love you, please remember that and don’t break me

Jude: Sanjay, please don’t believe her, she is a manipulative devil, she was blackmailing me and Viola to control us, with the Video she stole from Marie’s camera in your room

Hira’s eyes widened: NO, I did this to save you, Sanjay; uncle gave me the video, I didn’t steal it and I only asked them not to hurt you, I swear

Sanjay held his head: I can’t believe what I am hearing, how can I be so foolish?

Hira: no, no

Sanjay with teary eyes: I really believed you when you said you love me, but you stole the cheque and was to let me marry a girl I don’t love for to take the money (then he frowned ) you didn’t love me for a minute, did you?

Hira: no, I love you, I swear I love you (and she approached Sanjay and put her hands on his cheeks) believe me 

Jude: Sanjay there is no time, Jagdev sent to her a recorded message on the phone, telling her as she hearing it, he will be hurting Viola, you are smart Listen to it, you might find out something that I didn’t notice

Hira: NO

And she ran to her phone and stepped on it by the heel of her shoes, smashing it, Sanjay screamed in anger then held her shoulders harshly her eyes widened terrified of him

Hira: Sanjay, I broke the phone because in the message you will hear something that will hurt you, believe me

Sanjay: shut up (then he shook her) where did he take Viola?

Hira: I don’t know, I swear I don’t know

Sanjay: WHAT IS HE GOING TO DO TO HER ?

Hira: I don’t know

Sanjay: LIAR, WHO ARE YOU? WHY YOU WANT TO HURT US?

Hira sobbed: Sanjay, you are scaring me  

Sanjay: I DON’T CARE, YOU ARE A DEVIL, DEVIL

Jude: Sanjay, you have the cheque and Hira, find Viola and get Papa out, I can’t face them, I am going to my room now

And he rushed out, Eliana looked at him going then looked back with teary wide eyes at Sanjay who looked back at Hira with widened scary eyes

Sanjay: where does he live? WHERE DOES HE LIVE?

Eliana: she doesn’t know Sanjay, but I think I know, I mean I remember his old apartment, he might be still living there, please leave her

Sanjay looked at Eliana and left Hira as if she something disgusting he was holding and Hira covered her lips and sobbed; Pedro and Mario entered the room running

Pedro: HIRA, we just saw Jude entering his room!!!

(Then his eyes widened looking at Hira and the messy room)

Mario: what is going on, why is Hira crying?

Sanjay looked at them for a moment then he took the cheque put it in his pocket

Sanjay: Pedro, go bring Salman the security man

Pedro nodded innocently and ran down the stairs as Sanjay looked at Hira with faint frown while breathing heavily and she stared at him with terrified eyes, till Pedro returned with the security man

Salman: yes sir

Sanjay: I want all our security standing in front of the mansion gate, don’t let anyone in but family members and I want you personally to stand in front of this room (then he signaled on Hira) NO MATTER HOW MUCH SHE SCREAMED OR PLEADED, DON’T LET HER OUT

Hira put her hand on her chest and tears flowed from her widened in shock eyes

Salman: yes sir

Sanjay: go inform the security guards with what I said

Salman nodded and walked away, Sanjay grabbed the key of the room from over the nightstand then grabbed the knife from the floor, Hira’s eyes widened

Hira: what are you going to do with this?

Sanjay didn’t answer her and Looked at Pedro and Mario, then looked at Eliana

Sanjay: you will come with me, the twins will stay here with her, I don’t trust anyone from her side

Eliana’s eyes widened: who will stay here?

Pedro and Mario looked at Hira and Hira was looking at the knife in Sanjay’s hand with widened eyes, Sanjay held Eliana’s hand and pulled her towards outside but Hira held his hand and he didn’t look at her pleading eyes

Hira: NO Sanjay, please leave the knife, it either you or my brother will get hurt and I can’t take that

Sanjay looked at her with angry frown and pushed her off his hand she screamed and fell on the bed, Pedro and Mario ran towards her as Sanjay pulled Eliana out

Eliana: PEDRO, MARIO DON’T BE SCARED

Sanjay looked at Hira’s shocked eyes once more before closing the door, and locking it with the key

Hira: NO

And she ran towards the door and hit on it with both her hand, sobbing

Hira: Sanjay please open the door, Sanjay, OPEN THE DOOR, OPEN THE DOOR

Pedro and Mario went to Hira and Patted on her shoulders   

Pedro: Hira calm down

Hira: SANJAY, SANJAY (then she breathed heavily and her eyes started to close) Sanjay

Mario: Hira?

Hira fell on the floor unconscious and Pedro and Mario screamed

The twins: HIRA WAKE UP HIRA

Outside Sanjay froze before entering the elevator, his eyes widened in fear and looked at Hira’s room closed door, Eliana saw the worry in his eyes

Eliana: Sanjay, something happened with Hira, please open the door, don’t do something that you will regret one day

Sanjay: the only thing I will regret, is if I believed her again

And he pulled Eliana to inside the elevator then pressed on the Ground floor’s button, the elevator descended and open in ground floor and Marie rushed towards Sanjay

Marie: Sanjay, I was in my way to Nelly but Sonia called me and told me Jude is here, is that true?

Sanjay: yes, you don’t have to go and force me in this marriage, I am going to get Adarsh out

And he pulled Eliana who was crying and looking at Marie, and walked away

Marie looked at them shocked then rushed behind Sanjay, but he was walking towards the door, not stopping or turning

Marie: Sanjay, where are you taking Eliana? (Then she swallowed) how did you get the cheque from Jude? You did something to Jude?

Sanjay: it wasn’t with him

Marie’s eyes widened: WHAT?

Sanjay: it was with Hira, you were right about her, she is a devil

Marie stopped and her mouth opened in shock then she looked at Sonia, who was standing at the kitchen door with her hand over her lips and her eyes wide in shock

An hour later

Jagdev wiped the tear dropped on his cheek and swallowed, looking at Viola who was sleeping peacefully on his bed, then he closed his eyes and got out of the room and whispered to himself

Jagdev: be strong, you can do this (then he hit his chest) no kindness, no guilt, no turning back

Then he looked at Radha’s portrait that was hanged in his living in room and took a deep breath, then he entered back at Viola’s room and opened his wardrobe and got out of it a Video camera.

He looked at Viola and closed his eyes and started breathing heavily then he swallowed and looked on the shelves hanging on his wall and removed several books from one in the middle, and turned on the camera then put it between the books, and looked at it then looked at Viola and adjusted the camera to make sure it captures her whole body!

Then he walked towards the bed where Viola was sleeping and sat beside her on the edge of the bed and held the strap of her crop top, was about to slide it off her shoulder but he left it and his eyes widened

Jagdev: I don’t know how I thought to do this to you, Hira is right, it’s not fair, I am so sorry

And he walked towards the camera, took it and turned it off then put it back on the shelf and walked out in fast steps, then looked at Radha’s portrait and tears streamed from his eyes

Jagdev: I am so sorry, I can’t do it, forgive me, I promised you to make Adarsh suffer for the rest of his life and couldn’t keep the promise

Viola: Jagdev?

Jagdev wiped his tears and went back to his room and Viola was sitting on the bed  and holding her head

Viola: why didn’t you drive me home?

Jagdev: I should have did that, I am so sorry

Viola: I am glad you didn’t, I don’t want to see her (then her eyes crowded with tears) can you imagine a mother leaving her three children for a man, what kind of a mother is that? And she want me to throw myself in her arms and forgive her (then she frowned ) you know I rather if she stayed dead, I really do  

Jagdev smiled faintly and looked down then he shook his head

Viola: what?

Jagdev smiled: nothing, it just how sad and angry from your mother, reminded me how angry and sad I was from my mother when she remarried after my father passed away and left me with my grandmother, you know even when my grandmother passed away and my mother left her husband and my one year old sister because I refused to live with them and came to live with me; I didn’t forgive her for leaving me in the first place and marrying another man

Viola: I didn’t know you have a little sister

Jagdev nodded faintly, his eyes crowded with tears and Viola was shocked to see him like that

Jagdev: and when I became a man and she wanted to return back to her husband and my 10 years old sister, I told her that I will consider her dead, I remember it like if it’s today she cried and pressed her hand on her chest like that

And he closed his eyes and pressed his hands on his chest and Viola put her hand over his hand

Jagdev: and that is the last thing I said to her

Viola swallowed: she passed away?

Jagdev: in the very same day, I didn’t get a chance to tell her I didn’t mean that, I didn’t get a chance to tell her that nothing worth breaking her heart, I never told her that I love her and forgive her, and agree to accept my sister and her husband In our life, god I would pay my life to tell her that

Tears streamed on Viola’s face, Jagdev wiped them with faint kind smile and she couldn’t help but hug him and whispered

Viola: I am sorry, I reminded you with that

Jagdev: I never forgot and you don’t forget this story too

Viola broke the hug and touched his cheek then kissed his lips and he closed his eyes and melted in her kiss, she slid her hand on his neck then held his shirt and unbuttoned it slowly, then she took it off him and threw it and took off her crop top and threw it as well

Jagdev broke the kiss and looked at her for a moment and she looked back at him and told him just by the look of her eyes that she demands more closeness

So he kissed her lips and both Leaned on the bed, he kissed her neck and her chest and she whispered

Viola: I didn’t do this before, but I am not scared, with you I am never scared

Jagdev stopped kissing her and swallowed nervously  

Viola whispered: I love you

Jagdev’s eyes widened and got off her as if he got electrocuted, Viola sat and her eyes widened

Viola: what is wrong?

Jagdev stood and looked for his shirt then grabbed it and wore it while frowning and not looking at her

Jagdev: Get out, Singh Khatri

Viola: Jagdev, if you don’t love me back now, it’s okay, I can wait

Jagdev: I WILL NEVER LOVE YOU, GET OUT

Viola: Jagdev, why are you doing this?

(Then suddenly they heard, the bell ringing long and a loud thudding on the door as if someone trying to break it )

“OPEN THE DOOR YOU COWARD”

Jagdev looked at Viola who was looking at him shocked and nodded

Jagdev: you will know why now

And he took a deep breath then walked calmly to the door and opened it, and Sanjay welcomed him with Knife raised towards him, Jagdev held Sanjay’s hand and hit it in the door entry and the knife fell from his hand, so Sanjay instantly punched him in the jaw, Jagdev was to lose his balance but took support of a chair, so Sanjay pulled him and punched him again and this time Jagdev fell on the floor, Sanjay groaned and kept punching him and kicking him, Jagdev just took the beating without even  a single scream and didn’t fight back

Sanjay: WHERE IS VIOLA?

Eliana entered the apartment, and gasped then screamed

Eliana: SANJAY STOP, FIND VIOLA

Sanjay Left Jagdev and ran inside, Jagdev hardly sat back and his face was bruised

Eliana: what did you do to her?

Jagdev: you must be Viola’s mother, I did nothing to her don’t worry, ma’am

Sanjay ran to the corridor of the rooms and Viola ran out of the room while adjusting her top Sanjay’s eyes widened seeing that

Sanjay: did he force you to...?

Viola interrupted: NO (then she frowned ) what are you doing here, Sanjay?

Sanjay pulled her away from the door and entered the room, and Viola followed him

Viola: Sanjay, you don’t have the right to interfere in my private life, I...

Sanjay found the camera and put it in her hands, Viola flinched and her eyes widened looking at the camera

Sanjay: THE COWARD WAS FILMING YOU WHILE YOU ARE SLEEPING WITH HIM TO BLACKMAIL US, HE IS HIRA’S BROTHER, THEY ARE SWINDLERS

Viola covered herself with her hands and she shook her head in disbelief, and tears flow on her cheek, Sanjay nodded then looked down and said in low tone

Sanjay: Hira stole the cheque and was planning to hurt you and Jude, it’s her plan

Viola with teary eyes: I don’t believe this true, there must be a misunderstanding, he saved me

Sanjay shook his head then hugged her and walked with her out, Viola looked at Jagdev on the floor and in her hand the camera

Viola: Jagdev, Sanjay misunderstood you, he thinks you came in our lives to hurt us

Jagdev: he didn’t misunderstand me

Viola sobbed and Sanjay looked at him with a frown and Eliana wanted to hug Viola but Sanjay held on her and looked at Jagdev

Sanjay: Your sister is in my hands and like you did to my sister, I will do to yours

Jagdev’s eyes widened: Hira?

Sanjay walked away with Viola and Eliana covered her lips and Looked at Jagdev

Jagdev: NO SANJAY, HIRA HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS, YOU DEAL WITH ME, YOU BASTARD

2 Hours Later

Eve: oh my god; Sultan, are you sure? Hira stole the cheque?!!

Sultan nodded then looked around to make sure no one is looking at him standing by the car

Sultan: you know, it always freaks me out when you steal Marie’s car to meet me, she is my boss’s sister, when I see her car, my arms’ hair stand

Eve: no one cares now about the car or our relationship Sultan, just tell me exactly what Marie told Joseph

Sultan: she told him that Hira stole the cheque and your brother is locking her in the mansion, and that she might need our help to make Hira talk, Joseph agreed but then she called and told him that Sanjay refuses that anyone interferes and that he knows how he will make Hira talk

Eve covered her face: that is a nightmare (then she looked at him )I can’t believe this is happening and Papa is getting out of prison?

Sultan smiled: yes now forget about them , tell me have you thought about my proposal ?

Eve frowned: what Proposal?

Sultan’s smile vanished: our Marriage Eve, the next week, how could you forget?

Eve: oh I...(then she smiled) it’s not possible now Sultan, you know the situation

Sultan frowned : it’s been 10 years Eve, every time I ask you to Marry me you say the same thing, I don’t know if you love me or am I just a servant to you?

Eve touched his cheek: of course I do Sultan and one day we will be together, I am just scared of how my family will react to our relation, give me more time

Sultan sighed and nodded faintly and she smiled and started the engine of Marie’s car then drove couple of blocks and stopped the car in front of the mansion and her eyes widened seeing Eliana and Jagdev in front of the mansion and all the security guards standing in front of the gate

Jagdev: LET ME IN, I SWEAR I WILL CALL THE POLICE

Eliana: no, Hira is in so much trouble, I am scared they will take her not save her

Eve swallowed then pressed on the horn of the car, the security opened the door for her car to pass, Jagdev and Eliana tried to enter but the security held them

Eliana: Eve, Let me in, your brothers are locked inside, please Eve

Security Guard: Ms. Eve, Mr. Sanjay gave strict orders to not let anyone in unless it’s a family member

Eve smiled at her from the window of the car then just drove inside, parked the car then rushed inside where Marie was waiting by the door

Marie: oh it’s just you, I thought you are Sanjay (then she frowned) what are you doing out at 5 in the morning?!!!

Eve: I was looking for Jude in his friends’ houses, I don’t care about the time, papa has to get out

Marie frowned: I didn’t know Jude has friends, anyway that is not necessary Jude is here and in his room, the snake Hira is the one who stole the cheque

Eve’s eyes widened: what? No it’s impossible

Marie: not really, I always felt something wrong with that girl (then she smiled) but my smart son found out everything (Then she said proudly) and he is strong and strict like his father, he gave orders and locked her in the room as if he never cared for her for a minute

Eve frowned faintly: Hira was right, he is letting out 11 years’ worth of emotion so when he is angry, he is a volcano; that is not good

Marie frowned: what do you mean it’s not good?!! Sanjay went to the police to give them the cheque, by tomorrow your father will be back in his home and Hira will be out of our lives forever, and you are right, it’s not good (then she smiled) it’s great

Marie heard a car parking and rushed towards the door with Eve, they waited till Sanjay entered while hugging Viola, who her face covered in tears

Marie: oh my god, what is this girl was doing outside?

Sanjay: don’t mind now (then he looked at Eve) please go and ask Jude to come

Four security Guards entered holding with Eliana and Jagdev, and Marie’s eyes widened, and looked at Sanjay shocked

Jagdev: I am not scared of you Sanjay Singh Khatri, and I promise you that you will pay for every pain you caused Hira

Sanjay looked at him then looked at two of the security guards

Sanjay: bring Hira here (and he gave one of them the key) she is in her room

the security walked to the elevator and ascend with it to the second floor, and went towards the room, where Salman standing and Salman moved from the way to open it, and hearing the sound of the key opening the door, Hira’s eyes widened and held on Mario and Pedro’s hand who were sitting beside her on the floor and swallowed

Hira with teary eyes: It’s Sanjay, I am so scared

Pedro frowned: don’t worry Hira

Mario frowned: we are with you

Hira raised the mattress and opened the file and with shivering hands took the paper in it and put it in her jeans ‘pocket.

The door opened and Hira’s eyes widened and breathed heavily as one of the security guards approached her

The security1: Ms. Hira, come with us

Hira: no

The security 1 looked at 2, then they both pulled Hira from her arms, Hira screamed and her legs dragged behind her not able to stand from fear so Pedro and Mario fought the Guards

The twins: LEAVE HER, LEAVE HER

The security struggled to hold Hira and in the same time fight the twins so Salman entered and slapped the boys, Hira screamed as they both fell and Salman continued beating them till they vanished from Hira’s sight and their screams vanished from her hearing

She was dragged to the elevator and out, then they dragged her towards Sanjay and threw her at his feet , she raised her head and looked at him with teary disappointed eyes and for his surprise he really felt fear seeing this look of disappointment in her eyes, and ache in his heart seeing her in such situation but he hid it all inside him and took a deep breath

Sanjay: it’s over Hira, your Game or plan is over, now if you care for your brothers or your partners in the plan, you for the first time will say the truth

Hira looked with teary eyes at the elevator, then at Viola and Eve who were crying looking at her, at Eliana and Jagdev who were looking at her with worry, then at Marie who had a disgusted look at her and Jude who was looking down not able to look at her

Sanjay: who are you Hira? And why you came in our lives?

Hira looked at Sanjay for a moment then frowned as tears flow on her cheek, and stood up, raised her head and said angrily as tears flowing on her face

Hira: are you ready to know who I am, Sanjay Singh Khatri?
