Genevieve smiled down at him. “Of course I will marry you.” Lucian slid the ring onto her finger and they both stared at it. There had been a difficult choice to make on the ring front. He could have used the ring from last time as it had been sent back to him in a parcel from Ginny. It hadn’t felt right to use the same ring again. He wanted this marriage to be distinctively different from their first one. That marriage hadn’t ended well for either of them. The winning ring was a simple gold band with their initials engraved on the underside.  “Do you like the ring?” he asked. Genevieve peered at it and took it off her finger to have a look at the inside. “I like it. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to see my other ring again. I have lots of bad memories associated with it,” she replied. L
