Lucian was blissfully unaware of any of the developments that had been happening under his nose. His desire to let Genevieve have her privacy was going to be his downfall eventually.  If he had visited her school at least once, he would have realised how close she and Aubyn were. That would have been a major clue that the situation was too good to be true. Instead, his life went on as normal for another month.
