Chapter Three Nine months later Lana rode up the elevator to the offices of ChatterZine. Like she did every morning, including most weekends, she gripped a cup of coffee in one hand. Though now it was only one cup as Reyanna had gone through a series of bright-eyed interns, whose eagerness dulled within weeks of working for the demanding boss. Coffee in hand. Pen in bun. Notepad in pocket. Lana took sure steps to her desk. Along the way, she dodged bodies as writers and photographers hurried about inside the office.
