Chapter Fourteen Mac took his time getting to Lana. The sun was behind her, enfolding her in its warmth like a lover's caress. He wasn't jealous of the rays. He couldn't be. The way the light danced over her took his breath away. Lana watched him too. Her lips parted. Her gaze widened slightly. Her nostrils flared. He'd seen that look in her eyes.
