Chapter Sixteen The sun slowly sank down below the horizon. The last ray warmed the sweat at the center of Mac's shoulder blades. He put away the last of the tools. But he kept the screwdriver, tucking it into his shirt pocket. As the other guys piled in Keaton's truck to head into town for a cold drink, Mac jumped into the driver’s seat of his own car.
