THE 2ND ENCOUNTER

I'm already at the headquarters and preparing for our meeting with the Department Chair.

“Jane, please take notes of all of the important details that we will be discussing with the Department Chair. “ Yaem told our organization secretary, Jane, who is a third year mechanical engineering student.

“ noted master” - Jane answered

“Yaem,where?” -Christian

“ where what? “ - Yaem

“The meeting “ - Christian

“ at the Department Chair's office, don't worry we do still have thirty minutes, we will go there at 12:45”- Yaem told me

I sat on my chair, then I remembered the key chain that the little girl dropped earlier. I got it from my pocket, I noticed that this was not just an ordinary keychain. It is a crochet mushroom keychain. It has a cute color combination as the top of the mushroom was mint green while the down part was colored mocha. I'm still mesmerizing on the crochet mushroom keychain when Yaem called me.

“ Ishan, come on, let’s go” Yaem

Then we already went to the office of the Department Chair at the College of Engineering Architecture and Fine Arts Building on the 10th floor.

At the Department Chairs Office

We are all now sitting at the office of the department chair, Mrs. Salvador.

“Ok MESL, let us start the meeting, first may I know what is your initial plan for the upcoming 50th anniversary of the MESL?.”

“We plan to conduct a three-day celebration of the 50th anniversary of MESL, wherein the first day in the launching of the event we will have a short program , jane is already arranging the program flow, at the afternoon we plan to conduct a seminars and training that could help to equip our students with knowledge that is widely used in the field , on the second day , we plan to have a team building wherein we will group each student from different year and section so that the juniors will have a chance to meet and sociable with their seniors. On the last day, we plan to have the coronation night of Ms. and Mr. MESL . There are different boots that will be available in the whole three-day event. We are already starting the preparation , the design and lay out of the whole event, but of course we do still need a lot of time to finalize the whole details of the events mam, and honestly, it is much more hard for us especially that both Christian and I are having our on-the-job training, we will not be always at University, but you can rest assured that we will still do our best to comply on our duties” Yaem

“Do not worry, I trust the both of you , I know you can pull through this event successfully”- Ms. Salvador said

We continue discussing the other details of the event, the meeting ending at two o’clock in the afternoon.

We are about to leave when Ms. Salvador requested to talk to me privately.

And what does she want from me now?!

I could not do anything but stay in her office. Before the rest of the committee left, I saw Yaem doing a hand signal, asking me if I am okay. I just nod at her and sign her to leave.

“ How is your on the job training?”- Ms. Salvador

“Can you just mind your own business?, if you have nothing to ask me about the organization then I need to leave” - Christian

“Your business is your father’s business , then it would also be my business, we are family right?” Ms. Salvador said to me and give me a grin

I really hate this woman, but I hate more her husband

“ Ahh, is that why you are trying your best to act as my stepmother and get my favor? Why? Did my father cheat on you again?” - I replied with a mocking tone.

“Come on Christian, your father loves me, why would he cheat? “ Ms. Salvador replied to me, but i can see in her eyes that she is lying

“Okay, then let’s just say that I believe you for that” I told her before leaving her office.

I'm so pissed off by our conversation. To ease my anger, I decided to take the stairs even if I know that I am on the 10th floor.

Well if I will use the elevator, then there’s a big chance that Yaem and the rest of the committee will see me in a bad mood, I need more time to think and calm myself before I go to the headquarters.

I am already in the 8th floor when I heard that there are students who are talking in the staircase. I continue walking downstairs when I smelled smoke of cigarettes.

I see, juniors students do have the nerve to smoke here in school huh

I get my phone on my pocket and get ready my camera to capture the face of the students who are smoking. I am already in the 7th floor when I already saw the faces of the smoking students in the 6th floor, when I am already done taking their pictures as evidence , I decided to disturb them.

"Was smoking inside the university is good? you should be ready for the consequences " I told to the two students who look shocked when they saw me walking down the stairs.

"tsk, dude mind your own business, just get out of here quickly before I destroy your face" , said by the one of the students who look like a gangster.

then the other on starts to talk...

"shut up!, don't you know him? he is master Christian Lheenor, the vice president of the MESL, the one who is black belter in taekwondo, you know, the one who---"

"seems you already know who I am, how about come with me to the headquarters for your violations?" I cut off to what the other student is saying.

they talked too much.

" calm down master, can't we just solve it here? besides it is our first violations, it is our first time to smoke here, we promise we won't do it again" said by the student who talked too much.

"did you expect me to believe that?! enough talking and come with me in the headquarters"-Christian

I am about to grab them when they start running downstairs. 

huh? what a hard headed students, just make sure you two run fast!

I start chasing the two students who are running in the stairs. we run until we are already in the 4th floor when we encounter a female students . The two delinquents push her that caused her to out of balanced, I immediately grab the girl and hold her waist to stop her falling into the stairs.

the lady was shocked of what happened, good thing I grab her just in time, I unknowingly stare her while still holding her in my arm as this girl looks familiar, until I realize that she is also the girl I met earlier at the elevator.

"can you please let go of me" the girl said, then I realize that I am sill holding her, that is when I let go of her quickly, then I suddenly remember that I'm chasing the two delinquents students.

" ahm, Thank--" the lady was saying something when  I started to run again and leave her as I need to capture the two students.
