I turned around and there, to my surprise, stood Callum right beside me. I hadn't even noticed when he'd approached.
"Alpha Green?" I stammered, clearly taken aback. Then my eyes darted around and I noticed the absence of his security detail. It was as if he'd decided to visit the exhibition without his typical entourage.
"What brings you here?" I asked.
"I could ask you the same question, Ms. Vance," he replied with that slight curve of his lips that might have been amusement.
"Where are your guards?" I pressed, genuinely curious.
He gave a slight shrug. "Having them surrounding me would draw unnecessary attention. I instructed them to maintain perimeter security and blend with the crowd."
