Kira's POV
Both Celia and I stared at Thompson in surprise. After all, nobody had told him about my bond dissolution plans or at least, not the details.
Thompson's expression hardened, his voice coming out through gritted teeth. "Don't tell me you're still planning to stay mated to him. Do you actually love Damon that much? Enough to let him run around with another female while his family tries to destroy you?"
I stayed quiet, which only seemed to make Thompson angrier.
"What's so special about Damon Thornwood that you can't let him go? He's not the only Alpha in the Wolf Kingdom. A wolf like you, he doesn't deserve you. Do I need to go to his pack house and force the dissolution myself?"
"There is no need, I'm dissolving the bond," I said quietly.
