"On it!" One of administrators spoke into their comm, scrambling to arrange replacement personnel.
Serena's face went absolutely pale as she swayed on her feet. If Damon hadn't moved to catch her, she would have collapsed right there.
The reality was clearly hitting her, being removed from active duty would destroy her carefully built military career advancement. She couldn’t let it happen to her.
