Vivian's face went white as death when she saw Damon standing in the doorway. It suddenly dawned on her that I had meant what I said when I told them that everyone at the alliance submit had witnessed their scheme.
The moment Margaret spotted Damon, she scrambled to her feet and rushed toward him, her wolf pushing through her panic.
She started putting on her usual display of drama.
"Damon, perfect timing!" Margaret's voice was shrill and reeked of desperation. "I caught this omega with rogues. I told you but you wouldn’t believe me that she is a worthless cheat.” She gasped to catch her breath and continued, pointing fingers at me, “I caught her red-handed! Vivian witnessed it too. I confronted her about her infidelity, and this b***h actually attacked me!"
