So Thompson Gale had personally blocked me from securing legal representation?
But what was his motivation? Was he simply sympathizing with Kira? Or was there something deeper connecting them, some history I knew nothing about?
This wolf knew everything about Kira, her research, her drone warfare expertise, her technical innovations that had earned her recognition throughout military command.
But I, her mate for three years, had known none of it.
