Damon lunged forward, snatching the phone from my hand. He quickly explained to the Alliance enforcement officer on the other end that it was all a misunderstanding and his sister had made a terrible error in judgment.
After finally ending the call, Damon turned on me. "Are you out of your mind?"
I shot back, "Well, since Vivian is so certain about what happened, shouldn't I report it to the authorities?"
