Kira's POV
Callum's cool voice came through the device's speaker. "Yes, I heard everything."
Wendy froze, her wolf going absolutely rigid with shock. I could smell cold fear bleeding through her scent as realization hit.
Then her body went even more rigid when Callum's tall form emerged from behind the corridor wall, having clearly positioned himself to observe the confrontation.
I deactivated the call and told Callum, "Since you heard everything, Alpha Green, you know I'm not at fault here."
When Wendy had blocked my path earlier, I'd felt something was wrong about the situation, so I'd quietly connected a call to Callum.
