Tori's birthday party is just tomorrow, and I can't wait to go. Cyril granted me permission two weeks ago after I was able to complete a few tasks he assigned to me. Two of the tasks involved taking Iris out for ice-cream and assisting her with her homework.

I wonder what that was about.
What was the point of his so-called tasks?
It sure couldn't have been a way of preventing me from going to the party, no?
Because there was nothing difficult to do about that.
Like at all!!
Nonetheless, I may be overthinking things and arriving at false conclusions in my mind.
For all I know, it could have been a coincidence.
Perhaps he was going to ask me to do all those tasks before I sought his permission to attend Tori'
