Cyril's POV “What do you mean she's gone?” I demanded, my voice firm but laced with panic. “Stay there, I'm coming.” I barked into the phone, already moving towards the car. Adrenaline was surging through my veins as I was processing Chris's words. I kept feeling a rush of fear and anxiety with my heart racing with every passing second. When I got to the car park, I frantically scanned the area in search of Iris. My eyes scoured every inch for any sign of her. I tried convincing myself she could be playing hide-and-seek, fighting every thought implying that he was indeed missing. But the fight was pointless. The reality before me was undeniable. My daughter had gone missing, and she was nowhere to be found. I eventually accepted she was gone. There was no sign of her whereabouts.
